The Cabins at Samara

EACH WITH A STORY TO TELL!

It’s all the thoughtful, personal touches that make your cabin stay at Samara Point on Gull Lake a totally unique and treasured experience. Handcrafted lamps, tables, games and candle sconces carry you back to simpler days. Natural wood-burning fireplaces add ambiance and warmth to your country evenings. Screened-in lakeside porches give you a comfortable, front row seat to the very best that nature has to offer. Samara’s historic accommodations offer guests a unique getaway experience rarely to be found anymore — where you can escape back to those relaxing, remembered days of being at the lake, but with today’s comforts and conveniences to keep you as connected as you choose to be!

Samara Point Resort on Gull Lake is a quiet getaway spot, with only eight, individual private cabins (no multi-family units), well-spaced on over 11 wooded acres. We pride ourselves in being meticulous, both inside each cabin and throughout our grounds. Each lodging is lake level, so no cliffs or hills to reach the water. Every cabin has “the best” view, nestled along the shore just steps away from the water’s edge. Select from three types of lodgings: a one-of-a-kind retro manufactured home housing up to four persons; one of six original, historically preserved log-sided cabins that can sleep up to six; or our most private ol’ trapper’s home tucked along the Channel across from a nature preserve, perfect for up to 8 persons. Guests are assigned dock space during your stay, plus use of a 14 ft. fishing boat is included, with motors available for rent. With more surprises to fill your getaway days to enjoy!
